Please Read for Uniform Hems:

Please Note: We had an enormous amount of students not show up with proper hem length.  Please help the staff by being extremely detailed in the length of pants.  This is something that can't be more than 1/2 inch different than the picture provided.  (see below)
We need to be exact in how we approach the hem of the pants.  Please do not guess where to put the hem.  See pictures below and understand there are two places to adjust the pant length.  One is snaps at the bottom of the pant leg and the other is with the suspenders.  Please be careful in not applying an extremely hot iron to the pants.  The pants will burn.

Uniform Instructions for Competition Uniform

Black Pants Uniform (known as the "Competition Uniform")
The hems are adjustable by snaps AND by the suspenders.  Please take the time before Friday to do the following:
  • Find the hem length that puts the hem of the pants GENTLY touching the shoe laces.  NOTE: Students should stand at playing position to find this length.  You can adjust the hem AND you can adjust the bib straps near the shoulders.
  • Once you find the correct length, all pants should be pressed/ironed with LOW HEAT.  All students will be inspected on Friday.  Please show your child how to iron.  These are important life skills they need.
  • All Winds and Percussion need long Black Socks
