Honor Band Opportunities

There are two Columbus based Honor Bands that are currently taking nominations.  These are opportunities for our students that are excelling on their instruments at their grade level.  Please note that the Capital University Honor Band has a deadline of tomorrow.  (See below for details)

The following email contains information regarding students who would like to participate in an Honor Band at Capital University and/or Ohio State University.  Both of these schools provide a wonderful opportunity for students interested in performing with world-renown conductors and have the opportunity to play in instrument specific masterclasses by area professors.
This is open to all students at Coffman.  There is a nomination process that Mr. Bradstreet will enter all of the names.  To create a fair environment for this process, Mr. Bradstreet will use "chair" order from concert band and the results from whether or not they took a solo to OMEA Solo and Ensemble contest in Feb. of 2019.  Freshman can apply and Mr. Bradstreet will do his best to place students fairly into this same rubric.
SPECIAL NOTE: Capital University's information about this event did not come to Mr. Bradstreet and the deadline for their Honor Band is TOMORROW.  Please email Mr. Bradstreet immediately if you would like to be considered for this Honor Band.  OSU deadline is Nov. 1.  For OSU submissions, please email Mr. Bradstreet by Oct. 18.
If interested, please send Mr. Bradstreet and email with the following information:
Student's email address
All-State, regional and district honor band memberships
Parent/guardian's email address
